We happened along this wonderful studio 3 years ago during our 2 week trip around Ireland. It still sits so clearly in my mind. Wonderful atmosphere, the craft of weaving in such traditional means with extremely old looms was fascinating. A highlight of our trip and Cyndi was so generous with her time.

This was a small but charming Donegal bar. The owner Pat a fascinating man and a brilliant barman keeping us entertained with wonderful stories. The pints were great and the craic even better.

Located on a peninsula just north of Donegal Town, St. Peters Point is a wonderful, if sometimes wild, destination. The lighthouse is in perfect condition and also host a LOP (a large sign made of rocks stating 'Eire' a hangover from WW2 and Ireland's neutrality). Take a walk along the seashore, explore the rock pools or just try to spot Canada, as this is the next landfall for 3500 kilometres. Tranquil, green and perfect.
