Old Mill Alpacas is situated in picturesque Northumberland County in Ontario, just 6 minutes south of the 401 and the Big Apple. The farm features a herd of 80+ alpacas, scenic wooded areas, an on-site mini mill, and its own store stocked with a wide range of alpaca products. Tours are available at a low price for visitors wishing to learn more about alpacas and the alpaca industry.
Amy & Shelby are both such lovely people. It’s amazing speaking with people who are not only knowledgeable, but very clearly passionate about what they do. I visited with my family and we were made to feel so welcome during our tour & trek experience. I would highly recommend for anyone who is interesting in working farms and of course the cutest alpacas ever. I can’t say enough about how good of a time we had!

A Little Bit of Country... A Whole Lot of Fun! And everything's about apples! We offer a bakery and pie factory where our famous pies and breads are made right before your eyes - everyday! We offer a cafeteria-style restaurant with paninis, burgers, poutine, pizza, specialty apple items, and more. Gifts, souvenirs and unique market items surround you as you browse our establishment. A fun, whimsical area awaits you where you'll feel 'like a kid in a candy shop' again! Our apple cider brewery offers FREE cider sampling and a wonderful selection of bottled apple-icious cider blends. Outside (weather permitting), you'll find Mr.Applehead, an observatory - and the world's largest apple-shaped structure, in which you can ascend inside to discover breath-taking vistas of surrounding countryside. We also offer a kiddie train-ride, outdoor activities such as mini-golf, ping pong, lawn bowling, animal attractions, and more! Best of all, all these activities are FREE!
The apple pies are sooo good - we always buy some for the rest of the family. Well worth the stop, lots to see and do ... and the food is good - pies are their specialty and they are delicious - they also have apple cider, apple donuts ... just a great place to stop for a break and a bite!
