Chestermere Lake

Reviewed By BenLar137 - Calgary, Canada

Because the city of Chestermere has done a lot of work to develop parks and other kinds of access to the lake that gave it its name, it has become a true gem for the residents there, as well as visitors from Calgary and beyond. The road links there are excellent, and there are a variety of small parks along the shore. Most of the shoreline is private, but they've achieved a good balance between public and private spaces. Our favourite place are the parks on the NW side of the lake, with lovely trails for short walks. We were there on a sunny day recently, and nothing in the area can beat this place!
