Beautiful beach, nice clean facilities, lifeguards, even big canopy for those who forgot their beach umbrellas! Will definetly be back!

As the 1856 Country Store name implies, this is a mid Nineteenth Century building in the heart of the well preserved Nineteenth Century village of Centerville. They have a terrific selection of 'penny' candy items, though you'd be hard pressed to find anything actually selling for one cent these days. Additionally, there is also a wide variety of Cape themed gifts. After a visit to Craigville Beach or the famous Four Seas Ice Cream shop, this is also a required stop, especially for the kids. Covid has been a challenge for all, but now that the Summer crowds have dispersed, it is easier to spend a little time in the store and take in their great selection of souvenirs. If Centerville has captured your interest as a great central Cape spot to stay, you're right!, and the Capt. David Kelley House is two doors down from the store. It is a wonderful spot in this enchanting throwback to a simpler time.
