Great little beach with crystal clear water. Currently shut due to works on the cliffs. It's a step walk down and up but worth the trek!

The main access trail is not easy to find off a steep road at the bottom of Combre Del Sol/Montecala villa complex. I’m an extremely fit 60yr old and even on a December early evening found it a difficult walk over the rocky/steep terrain. Fortunately I had new walking boots and a stick to help negotiate the very rough/uneven/rock and boulder strewn path down to the cove. You need to pay attention to the signs and marks painted on rocks to direct you otherwise it’s easy to take a wrong route. The cove is small and rocky with not much of a beach. Fishermans shacks have been cut into the rock and in one area it appeared someone was sleeping rough in one of the areas. I would not recommend you attempt this trek if you’re not fit, don’t have decent walking/hiking shoes or in the heat of the day as the cove itself is actually nothing spectacular. However, I enjoyed the challenge and it certainly burnt off a few calories!!
