Situated next to Seahorse World,about 45k from Launceston,this is an incredible display features 5 very energetic platypus swimming in well lit tanks..The commentary was very good as was the short film at the end of the tour...The echidnas waddling around our feet were an added bonus..A great way to learn about the very secretive platypus..

This is a unique experience, where else can you see a seahorse farm and get to hold one? You need to do the tour which runs every 45 or so minutes, the guide will be a staff member who works with the fish and will explain the life cycle of the seahorse, show you how they breed and raise these wonderful creatures and what happens to them when they are old enough to be sold. A great way to spend an hour or so.
