By far one of the best experiences! We were in the area on a girls trip, made plans to take the class at Intro to Rodeo and had a fantastic time. It's such a beautiful location, and the horses were so amazing! Kara was super patient with us and taught us some new skills that we'd never experienced before. She is an awesome teacher and helped us feel comfortable around the horses. Before we knew it, our new skills had us riding, racing, roping and herding. The whole two-hour activity is organized and extremely well structured. The time just flew by! Highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting the area. Thanks Kara for such a fun day!

Due to site improvements, all programs in 2019 will take place off-site. Please visit the website - tetonraptorcenter.org for our calendar of events. The calendar is packed full of program opportunities! Teton Raptor Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing raptor conservation through education, research, and rehabilitation. We offer public programs throughout the year, during which visitors will learn about birds of prey and get to meet some of our majestic resident raptors up-close. Hours and programs change seasonally. Thanks for giving a hoot!
We had the most incredible trip with the Teton Raptor Center and JH Vintage Adventures! Len led my two kids (3 and 4 years old) and I down the Snake River - he was a wealth of knowledge and a joy to be around. He also spotted 8 different bald eagles which was a highlight of our time in JH for my son. The Teton Raptor Center team brought a few of their raptors and deepened our education. My kids were enthralled (as was I). I felt that both teams took every precaution during Covid to keep us safe. Highly recommend this to anyone who has the opportunity to participate.

He customizes each tour to ideally suit the interests and abilities of his guests. The atmosphere at the Bar J Chuckwagon is awesome. Seating assignments begin about two hours before dinner, and I'd recommend you arrive early. We arrived later and were 10 picnic tables back, which felt like a long way from the stage. Once your seating assignment is made, you can do the activities around the ranch: kid train ride, eat a dutch oven biscuit, look at the blacksmith items, nature walk, etc. Dinner was an "authentic" cowboy supper: meat, baked potato, bbq beans, applesauce, bread, cake, lemonade. The applesauce and the cake were great. All the other food was so-so. If I did it again, I would have paid more for chicken or steak. We got the BBQ beef, which was small pieces of beef in bbq sauce. Not really tasty. The lemonade was like watered down country time mix. But there were seconds until the food was gone, so my teenagers got enough to eat. Plate size is really big. The music show was awesome. These guys are legit pro entertainers. So fun and so funny! A joke a minute. Their fiddler won the national and international fiddle competition - twice. And hope that "Granny" pays a visit!
