This waterfall is located about a 1/4-mile from Multnomah Falls on route 30. Multomah Falls is a complete zoo, but Wahkeena Falls is much less crowded, and still beautiful. There is a small parking area. The falls are visible from the parking, or you can take a long or short hike. The switchback trail on the right that leads to a bridge (.2 miles), or to the top of the falls, and even on to Multnomah Falls. Of note, during the winter, there is snow and the trail is icy.

The weather was cooperating, and we walked up the trail alongside the falls to the Benson Bridge to be able to take photos down. All visitors were cooperating. It is such an inspirational place! The restaurant was closed. The gift shop is open, and so are the restrooms. Lots of parking available - must enter from the freeway and walk underneath it.
