Bilpin Springs Orchard

We had so much fun. A family business full of love, our guide was a beautiful man, who walked us down and told us where and what we can pick, how to pick. Picking the fruit was fun and rewarding to show kids, fruit grows from trees not from the shop. I can't wait to go back. Every member of the family I saw/meet were so friendly, helpful and just a pure delight. We can't wait to go back!!!!! Oh and the apples are yummy!!!

Picking fruit right off the tree for fresh fruit was a priceless experience and a beautiful eye opener for the kids to see where we eat our fruit comes from. Highly recommend this orchard for a fun filled day of fruit picking, there is a large variety of different fruit and an abundance of fruit of the trees, plenty for everyone to take home. At $5 a kilo we picked a variety of apples pears quince plums and nectarines, we were very happy with all the fruit we took home and had plenty to give away as well! We also purchased honey jams apple cider and apple cider vinegar at the shop. Amazing customer service we will definitely be back when other fruits are in season.

Very nice gardens, spent about 1 hour walking through the gardens. Waterfall is great. Lots of paths so it easy to miss parts of the garden, if you visit, take your time and explore every path.

The Bilpin Fruit Bowl

Reviewed By GeoffR665 - Ivanhoe, Australia

I had the pleasure of stopping at The Fruit Bowl recently while on vacation in the Blue Mountains. When in the mountains I always allocate at least an hour for my visit. I was pleased to see how the place was recovering from the January 2020 Bushfires and operating well despite the active Covid restrictions in place. The grounds were well maintained and great for a stretch of the legs and sample of the fresh mountain air. The shop was well stocked with locally grown fruit produce, specifically apples and an assortment of other edible treats including freshly baked apple pies. There was however a limited range of souvenir items for sale in the shop. I believe the range could be explanded to replicate the range of craft items sold there in previous years when I have visited. The cafė was operational and providing refreshments of excellent quality. As usual the staff were all friendly and polite. I thoroughly recommend that you stop and take the time to explore The Bilpin Fruit Bowl on your next visit to the Blue Mountains region and perhaps you too will become a regular visitor like me!
