Catanduva is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The population is 119,480 (2015 est.) in an area of 290.59 km². Is the second largest city in the Northern part of the state, after São José do Rio Preto. The city has a diversified economy, and the cultivation and processing of sugarcane is relevant.

Cachaca Distillery, founded in 1983 by Italian immigrant´s son Mario Seghese. Drawing on a long-standing family tradition, the distillery is renowned for the high quality and superior flavor of its cachaca, as well as home-made liqueurs and a wide range of sweets. The adjoining Cachaca Museum, where a collection of over 5000 bottles of the spirits and a small set of antiques are also at hand.
