Visited Chamang Waterfall today mid morning where it was not crowded with tourist and it was definitely worth the visit. The waterfall definitely was ???? and it’s a good place to have a good picnic getaway from the city area especially during a weekday. Definitely should come on a weekday to avoid the crowd as it’s less crowded.

The bus shuttle from Colmar Tropicale was at every 1/2 hour and you can get there at any time of the day. The shuttle bus will stop at a designated parking area and one has to climb up the steps to reach the landing point of the Japanese village. For an elderly person who cannot walk is not advisable to go. Last 20 years ago, we can easily drive all the way up to the landing station. It was prohibited to drive up now due to landslides near the place. I just wish the management do something to slippery steps that lead to the Japanese Tea House. It was narrow, steep and slippery during wet weather . The management should expand the steps, better railing along the way.

A medium-sized family run orchard located near Bentong, Pahang. We have approximately 300 trees that produce various varieties of durians such as Musang King, D24, tekka, D2, D101 and of course the classic "Durian Kampong". Jimmy's Durian Orchard is just a short and easy one hour drive (or less) from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. As it is situated right beside the Karak Highway, you won't have difficulty finding it! Visitors to our orchard may enjoy an educational talk by the owner, Jimmy where one can learn about the biology of the trees, how to identify varieties of durians and also most relevantly (and importantly!) how to choose a good durian. Rest assured that you will only be given fresh good quality durians! After stuffing yourself in the orchard, visitors are encouraged to buy and bring back durians, We offer quality that you just can't find in the city. Other than durians, the orchard also has mangosteens, rambutans, duku and a variety of local fruit. Facilities are decent in the orchard (we have clean toilets!), however please bring some mosquito repellant and a hat or umbrella when visiting the orchard.
Our family read about Jimmy’s Orchard online and decided to stop by on the way back from a family vacation. Little did we know we were to be the first visitors of the 2018 Durian season!! Even though we surprised Jimmy and his wife with our visit, they were so hospitable. They showed us their beautiful orchard on the mountainside, welcomed us onto their personal porch, and found some fresh Musang King for us to try. Delicious!! Please visit them, 2018 is supposed to be a fantastic Durian season!!

If you like nature and have some time you must go there. Bring something to eat and drink. Walk around and then sit on the grass or one of the many prepared places to sit. Enjoy the silence, the nature and the people relaxing. It is free and in my point of view much better than the eco park for example.
