With endless attractions, you need at least one full day to visit Longleat and explore,. The Safari is great fun and the free Safari app provides an informative commentary while viewing the animals - make sure to unscrew your aerial before you visit the monkey enclosure! We spent at least an hour driving around the safari. Enjoy a boat trip to feed the sealions, handle some exotic creatures in the Jungle Kingdom, pet some farm animals in the petting farm, feed nectar to the lorikeets and experience the bat cave. Longleat country house is beautiful to explore, as are the grounds. Round off the day with food at one of the many food establishments on site, and take a train ride around the outskirts of the park before leaving.

Aqua Sana Longleat Forest

Whilst staying for Christmas at longleat my son treated myself and his sister to a Boxing Day afternoon spa experience and what an amazing experience it was We’ve been coming to centre parks every year for 25 years now but first time at Christmas and the first time we’ve ever used the spa ( as we’ve always been too busy doing other stuff ) I wish I could give the spa facilities 6 stars ,we were so impressed ,lovely too that it was my 15 year old daughters first experience of a spa 3 hours was just not enough to experience all the wonderful rooms ( our favourite was the sleepy pods ) she’s been researching ever since getting one for home Everywhere So clean and welcoming and so luxurious We didn’t want to leave BUT !! And it is with a heavy heart I say ‘but ‘ as we have never had a negative thing to say about our 25 years at centre parcs The aqua Sana restaurant did not match up to the standard of the spa Very cold room ( could do with a cosy open fire or similar ) most people will have just walked In wearing possibly damp costumes and dressing gowns so will feel the cold more -it was uncomfortably cold and I’m normally hot !!no atmosphere -a little spa music -or Xmas music would have been nice ) Ordered a light lunch for 4 of us and cocktails each Cocktails tasted like cordial and did not resemble the pictures AT ALL -this is the trouble when it’s non bar staff making the drinks Order was wrong 3 times and no apology ( not the friendly staff we normally experience at centre parcs ) Food so tasteless and over priced probably most boring flat bread I’ve ever tasted ( although side Salads were good ) I’ve been to many spas where the food is so delicious you want to order seconds daughters order was wrong ,rest of party finished their food by the time hers had arrived ) and no one after all that came to check all was ok I’m still giving 5 stars as the actual spa was faultless and will definitely return on our next visit but WILL NOT be using the restaurant again Come on centre parcs with a few tweeks here and there this Could be perfect but the restaurant standard is letting you down I’m afraid

Longleat House

We went to longleat over the weekend where they had some hot air balloon event, the weather stayed dry, the safari was good fun, the house was massive as a family we loved to explore and find interesting facts. A lovely day out.... the food was quite average in cost, £6£7 for hotdog and chips or burgers but just very basic. Think its cheaper if you buy tickets online think it was £135 for a family of 5 but it was well worth it.

Recently had a Champagne Afternoon Tea here, to help celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday - whilst staying at (relatively) nearby Stourhead (6 adults + small child). The tea was lovely, and the staff very attentive and accommodating. My daughter loved it - indeed, we all did. Beautiful building in lovely surroundings. A happy and memorable afternoon - thank you.
