After parking the car, my sister and I began our thirty minute walk to Hardy Falls. The trail followed Deep Creek through a quiet forest to this magnificent waterfall. There were a number of signs describing the area, including information about bears as well as salmon berry bushes. We crossed a total of eight (8) bridges to reach our final destination. There are three (3) new ones spanning the creek along the winding, beautiful trail that has no elevation. Because of heavy forestation, we learned that two (2) of these new bridges were brought in by helicopter during reconstruction. They were orginally destroyed by floodwaters. Benches are found along the way, near the bridges, providing restful stopping points for visitors to enjoy the surrounding scenery. The trail is wheel-chair friendly. Once we reached the lookout station, we read the information boards. The park, named after Harry Hardy, is located on six (6) hectares of forested land at the south end of Peachland. The salmon run the creek in the fall, then spawn. On the return trip to our car, we looked for and found a cleverly hidden geocache.

Cool climate BC wine from one-of-a-kind terroir. Traditional method sparkling wine made with the patience it deserves.
We stopped to do a tasting and enjoyed every minute of it. Although the restaurant was closed when we got there, we were able to have a tasting. The wine was very nice and we each bought a bottle. Beautiful views!!!
