It's only 6 dollars plus 1 dollar tip. 1 hour 30 minutes hiking. I couldn't reach to the top cause I was sick. But it's not hard to make it

I have been traveling to el salvador and i decided to visit this place and it was the best choice we made it was fun. the family loved it and the kids i like the fact that the water is all from the river so no chemicals from pools or anything just fresh and clean this is a must go place.

We came on a Saturday on December 21 with Salvadorean Tours. We got there at 10 am and there were plenty of people arriving already. We stayed for 1 hour and by the time we left, the parking lot was full. Our guide asked a local guide to join us on a loop walk where we went up 2 platforms to see the lagoon. That walk took 50 minutes but at a very leisurely pace. You do have to walk in the forest. We had great views on the platforms and the weather was nice.

Went to a Latino 80's replay and the crowd was totally into it singing along, the show was entertaining. BUT the theater was incredible! The classic design, great acoustics, and the domed roof with amazing art! It is worth travelling to Sta Ana just for this. As it is right on the Central Park an afternoon or evening just being there with the locals is enchanting. I was fortunate enough to catch the 1st annual Pupuseada. See ya next year!

The lake is on an ancient volcano with lots of things to do. We used a hostel that had day use amenities so we were able to kayak and jet ski around this beautiful lake.
