This is an incredibly fun and unique adventure where you'll find out if your detective skills are good enough to solve a murder... Each team is given a list of suspects along with a packet of tricky clues, twisted riddles and mind-bending puzzles. Our clues will systematically lead you to explore Downtown Laguna Beach. Using your wits and some creativity, each location will reveal another piece of your investigation, and you'll eliminate suspects until you've discovered... Who Done It? Your team will compete against up to ten other teams scattered throughout Downtown Laguna Beach, each leading their own separate investigation. The team that solves for the murderer needing the least help from headquarters wins! The game lasts about four hours and will require traveling about three miles on foot. Allow extra time for signing-in at the beginning and socializing at the end. It's a great way to tour Laguna Beach. Get outdoors for the day and enjoy the great beach atmosphere while exercising your body and mind. There is no age limit, but the game is likely too mentally challenging for children under 12. This is also an excellent event to book for private parties and for corporate team building outings. There are other clue based games out there. Most involve simple and tedious tasks. Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt is NOTHING like them! If you want a NICE day, suitable for YOUNG children, play theirs. If you want an experience you'll never forget, come see us.
We did the Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt in Laguna Beach as part of a friend's private birthday part. There was 15 of us in all and it was such an exciting and creative adventure! The day was gorgeous so it made it all the more wonderful to wander around downtown Laguna Beach. Our group was very competitive and we finished first just by a mere 30 seconds ahead of another group. I love to go to escape rooms and this had that same element were the puzzles were very clever and you definitely needed to work together. I highly recommend this event to one and all. I want to do all of their location offerings!

A hidden gem in Laguna Beach. Before stumbling upon this place on Yelp, I have never heard of Victoria Pirate Tower. I am glad that we found this place where we can enjoy the beauty of Southern California beaches and take pictures with a little history. The pictures we took created so many comments and inquiries from our friends asking about where this place is. The tower and the rocks surrounding the tower make the whole place look like we are in an European beach somewhere. A cool place to be indeed. The best picture opp time is during sunset. The tide is low and the sunset view from here is just stunning. Especially if you come at the time with big waves, the splashes from the wave hitting the rocks create a very dramatic effect on your photos. The tower itself is not a big deal but the scenery is spectacular. Since this is an obscure place, not to many people come to the tower. You have the whole place to yourself to watch the sunset and enjoy the ocean. I heard the tower was built by a Senator in the 20’s as a way to get down to the beach and later was sold to a pirate enthusiast and made it into a story telling and treasure hunting castle. Getting to this place is a bit challenging as it’s hidden underneath a neighborhood. The best way to get here is to park your car along PCH next to Montage hotel and follow the beach access stairs of the hotel to the Victoria beach. Then from there walk about a quarter of a mile to get to the tower.
