My wife and I arrived at the base of the trail at 1pm and after reading some of the reviews and recommendations were unsure as to whether we should attempt the climb. We are relatively fit and both on the other side of 50 but decided to give it a go. The first kilometres are relatively easy but the last two are pretty brutal. We made the platform in 1hr 20 minutes. The way down was almost as hard taking 1 hour 16 minutes. My suggestion is to climb light and with free hands as there is some rope work and scrambling. Well worth the effort.
