We had a great time with our family (9 of us)! Ria was the instructor and between her sense of humor, her ability to teach and the music she chose, we had a blast. She and her partner made us all feel like we had accomplished something. Price can be a little high but definitely worth it, especially for a special occasion (birthday, out of town guests visiting, date night, friends from work). Highly recommended! Plus, having a bar available was an added bonus!

Westfarms, the premier shopping center of central Connecticut, features anchor stores Nordstrom, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and JCPenney. The shopping center offers 160 stylish retailers and restaurants, many unique to the trade area, including Anthropologie, Apple, The Art of Shaving, Athleta, Brio Tuscan Grille, California Pizza Kitchen, Coach, Free People, Hanna Andersson, J.Crew, Kiehl's, LEGO, Louis Vuitton, Lush, lululemon, Michael Kors, Microsoft, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Spanx, The North Face, Tiffany & Co., Tommy Bahama, Tory Burch, True Religion Brand Jeans, Urban Outfitters, Vans, vineyard vines and many more. The shopping center straddles the towns of Farmington and West Hartford, and is conveniently located at the intersection of I-84 and Route 9.
I normally don't like shopping, as I find it stressful, but I do enjoy coming here. It's a well-light mall with a lot of stores and is generally pretty busy, even in the shopping off-seasons. It doesn't have the rundown, derelict feeling that many malls have, now that so many stores are closing. There isn't a centralized food court, but there are some good restaurants, and there's plenty of parking.

At the Museum and in classrooms throughout Connecticut, we encourage children to become creative thinkers and lifelong learners. Our unique Children's Museum Preschool, co-located on our West Hartford campus, integrates science experiences into early childhood learning. Nearby Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton offers environmental exhibits, nature programs, concerts and acres of outdoor hiking, bird watching, and winter cross-country skiing.
It is always a fun day whenever we took the grandchild to This Museum. Not only are the animals usually at a height that children can easily view but the other exhibits are interactive and great fun. Kids can let off some steam in the playrooms where they can safely climb and go down slides. The science interactive exhiibit entices children to challenge their minds while having a great time.
