Nice museum. The entry from outside looks like old, but worth every piece that it has inside. I think is a special museum for this city and unrated!

You can visit many Albanian cities, towns and villages all under one roof. The secret if the front door is locked, KNOCK LOUDLY, then patiently wait as the curator or assistant is in there and will hear you to open the door. The exhibition starts in the left of the building with a GIANT 3 walled exhibit of icons from tons of churches and cathedrals across Albania, arranged like pages of a stamp collection. There is an iconostasis and many other religious paintings dating back to the 4th Century. If you are interested in religious art and want to see pieces by local artists, this is a must see.

Korca's Resurrection of Christ Cathedral is situated in its city center. Although it was built in 1995, it was actually rebuilt on the place where an orthodox church once stood before it was destroyed by the Hoxha's brutal regime. Today it is one of the main symbols of the beautiful city of Korca. The interior of the Cathedral is very interesting and inspirational, especially due to an unusual painting frescoes. All in all, if you're in Korca's center, don't miss this place!

If you ever dreamt of peeing in a peanut-shaped toilet, take your chance here. Menu is good, waiter suggested the raki for monks, which is honey and cinnamon flavored, and he was right! Loved it! In comparison to the Komiteti bar in Tirana, this place is a little more new and has a cleaner feel.
