Be a Local is something we often do with family and friends but few foreigners have the chance to experience this traditional way. Our unique experiences are to teach you the fundamentals of what being an Argentine is all about, whilst simply having more fun than is available anywhere else. Started ten years ago with premium wine tours also we started to make simple “asados” for our special customers, develop as a gastronomic experience. We share the same passion for travel and a desire to make it the best local experience for travellers. We want to showcase the finest Argentinian cuisine, wines and its rich history and culture in a fun and entertaining way.

Sposato Family Vineyards it the dream came true of its founder and owner Tony Sposato. Through the purchase of 100 virgin hectares in Agrelo, Tony decides to continue with the legacy of his Italian grandfather and his father. Our wines are made in an old city cellar in Godoy Cruz. Built in 1940, it keeps intact the architecture of the time and incorporating cutting-edge elements. We want you to enjoy a unique experience and accompany us to imagine a small trip to Agrelo, entering into a vat of concrete of the time, seeing the terroir from which our wines are born and tasting wisdom from its very gestation.

In 1999, the idea of a joint venture was born between Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and the Catena family. The enthusiasm around this idea turned into a project: to create a unique wine combining two cultures (French and Argentine) and two grape varieties (Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon). The Catena family relied on the knowledge of high-altitude terroirs in Mendoza and on the passion for Malbec to find the best vineyards. Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) provided the century-old management of Cabernet Sauvignon and the art of making great wines through the blending of different grape varieties. Bodegas CARO, located at the heart of Mendoza, boasts a restored cellar dating from end of 1800s. It is the core of the project, housing the wines from vintage 2003. From the outset, the project has been aimed at selecting the best terroirs in order to produce the most elegant wines in Argentina.
We thoroughly enjoyed our one hour tour and tasting. An awesome wine experience. We purchased a bottle of Caro Cosecha 2016 (80/20 Cab/Malbec) to bring home and cellar to enjoy on a special occasion to remember our Mendoza wine tours. We enjoyed a lovely dinner next door at Mallmans 1884 restaurant afterwards. A perfect evening out in Mendoza.
