A Spa For You

Reviewed By BoardingPass568284

This is a surprising find, tucked away as it is behind Tontu apparel/café where you might later choose to linger over a coffee, although there are separate entrances at side and rear. But once you enter the spa there is the illusion of entering a different world, the décor all drapes and wall paintings reminiscent of Bohemian Amsterdam. Erica was most attentive and gave us fascinating thick tomes to read as we experienced our foot detoxes. The treatment rooms are like tented pavilions and we most definitely recommend you stop off at the spa and experience the treats it has to offer first hand.

Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park

Spectacular and dizzying are the words to describe the steep-sided canyons of this rugged and scenic region.

Very short and easy hike to 2 breathtaking overlooks over the canyon. Really worth it. Plus a little pond at the bottom of the hill where we saw a beaver.

Rainbow Falls Provincial Park

Hiking, camping, fishing and boating are just a few of the outdoor activities available at this scenic park.

I wish this Park was closer! Staff very friendly during our entire stay. Camped in Whitesand site # 64. so much to do and see here! We rode our bikes all over the campgrounds and people driving were mindful of their speed. Park badges available! Spent over 2 hours kayaking Whitesand Lake....so beautiful and calm. We enjoyed several hikes... Back 40 up to the Lookout is a MUST. Some spots more difficult then others as it is an uphill trail. Rainbow Falls is very pretty for photo taking and the hike includes many steps! We took a right out of the gate onto 17 and found a side road that runs along Superior. Stopped at a beach and walked. Beautiful area.

The falls were amazing you could walk on either side and the boardwalk was nice and wide so it would be a great one for everyone and easy access. We went early so it was nice to have the views pretty much to ourselves to enjoy.

Aguasabon Falls & Gorge

Reviewed By davidbF2109QV - Barrie, Canada

Quick stop off the highway, recommend this. Short walk of 5 minutes to SPECTACULAR view of falls, gorge and lake. You could picnic here too, but if time is short, you can see the great view in less than 30 minutes.
