The Reggia of Caserta is the largest King Residence in the world, and one of the greatest Italian wonders, but not enough publicized and know at worldwide level. This huge palace (more than 1000 rooms) with a wonderful enormous garden is a must to be visited if you visit the south of Italy. The visit cost is around 15€ including the “jump the line” option, and allows visiting the residence’s king’s apartments and the garden. Both these two areas must be visited, and you will be astonished by the marvelous grandeur of this unique site. The visit requires 2 hours for the park and 2 hours for the apartments as a minimum. The apartments area also has a self service restaurant and bar. Audio guides are available in multi language version, for additional 5€ per person.
