Overlooked by many tourists, Meknes is a bustling modern city of nearly a million in northern Morocco, about 80 miles inland from the capital of Rabat. Local hero Moulay Ismail made Meknes Morocco's hub at the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th centuries, and his mausoleum is one of the city's main attractions. The Museum of Moroccan Art (housing fascinating jewels and artifacts) and Bab Mansour (the largest and most stunning of the city's gates) are other Meknes sights not to be missed.

I doubt you can find a better place to stay in Meknes. From the moment we arrive we felt welcomed and taken care of. The owner met us at the door and made mint tea while we checked in. The Dar is beautifully decorated and an architectural gem. We had 2 rooms and each one was very clean and cozy. It is also in a perfect location within the Medina. Everything in Meknes is easy accessible. We only spent one night (unfortunately) and I don't have a single complaint.

Riad Golf Stinia is located in the heart of the historical heritage of Meknes. The Riad offers six traditional quality rooms from 450 Dhs per night. We offer a traditional Moroccan quality catering with a capacity of 50 to 100 seats with a ticket for 120 Dhs per person. We also have a cafe terrace with a panoramic view overlooking the Royal Golf and a second on the main square el-hdim.
We stayed for one night in this beautiful Riad located near the Medina. The room was clean with all the comforts. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh produce. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Quality/preis is very good.

We were welcomed by a smiling gentleman and showed to our room. A very large room on the first floor. The room was, at first sight, ok; however half the light bulbs didn’t work, the sheet on the bed was dirty and we were bitten all night whilst in bed!!! The carpets and rugs needed a good vacuum and the bird poo needed wiping off the window ledges( inside). The his place definitely requires a women’s attention to detail. Has so much potential! We booked and paid for two nights but left after the first night.

This is the most incredible Dar you will every stay in. The rooms are incredible, comfortable and clean with great facilities. The host (Ghizlane) is so hospitable, nothing is too much trouble and the traditional Moroccan food that she produces is out of this world!! She will talk the night away if you want, help arrange tours and transport, nothing is too much trouble. She is also fluent in English French and Arabic so language is not a problem! My only regret was having to leave this wonderful family and stunning location!
