Wymondham Abbey is located in the market town of Wymondham and is the town's parish church. As well as being an active church with services every day, the Abbey is also a hub for the community for events such as family activities and concerts. In November 2015 the Abbey Experience opens with improved facilities including accessible toilets, enhanced visitor experience including the display of original artefacts and manuscripts and hands on activities for adults and children to engage in the heritage of this special place. There is lots to see at the Abbey and our Stewards are always on hand to answer questions. The Abbey also has a shop which sells souvenirs, locally made gifts and produce, seasonal products and spiritual books. There are regular events at the Abbey so do visit the Abbey website for further details and to check opening hours.
Tool my nan here at Christmas time for their service and it was lovely. Small shop inside. You can light a candle for a loved one

Built in 1712 during the reign of Queen Anne, Kimberley sits at the centre of a 700-acre park laid out in 1778 by the nation’s most famous landscape designer ‘Capability’ Brown. The house boasts spectacular views past grazing cattle and Norfolk’s greatest concentration of ancient oaks, to a 20-acre lake at the bottom of the River Tiffey valley. Centrally located in the county, 9 miles west of Norwich, and close to arterial road, rail and air links (plus a private airstrip 100m away), we are thus ideally positioned for all events should you wish to host a wedding, customer care day, meeting, film or photo shoot, private party, product launch or large-scale open-air event. All are conducted on an exclusive basis with the privacy you would expect of a family home.

A wonderful, multi award-winning station opened in 1845 and a floral delight, still served by regular mainline trains on the Norwich to Cambridge line. Winner of National Rail Awards 'Small Station of the Year' 2006. Home of the Brief Encounter Restaurant and Coffee Shop famed for it's home-cooked lunches and afternoon teas and voted one of the UK's Top Ten Station Eateries in 2009.
The station at Wymondham is primarily served by Greater Anglia trains running between Norwich and Cambridge and Stansted airport. There are also a few East Midlands Railway service between Norwich and Nottingham. The station building is quite impressive and in keeping with the surroundings. When I visited the Station Bistro was open for people to eat in and also for takeaways. There were no waiting rooms although there are large canopies over the platform to shelter from the rain. It did not see any station st

It was great to visit this tourist office in such an incredible building. I was able to buy post cards too. N.B there are steep stairs to this historic market cross.
