South Haven Lighthouses

A beautiful site during the day or night, when the pathway is lit with white lights. Charming to view either on the shore or out in the lake. A nice walk out to the light house with the lake lapping around the sides of the walk., and easy to reach from the public beach nearby. Love this lighthouse so much that I have a painting of it in my house!

What a cute and fun place! We enjoyed tasting various fruit wines and ciders. We also bought pickled veggies. I LOVE the pear cider and have been back for refills on my growler!!

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon with our teenage son. He wanted some big Honeycrisp apples and was not disappointed! Lots of things to choose from: different apple varieties, apple butter, jams/jellies, candles, etc. When getting a gallon of fresh cider from the fridge, I noticed bags of pitted sour cherries and snapped up 2 bags. Way less expensive per pound than those we get at our farmers market and we have to do the pitting! Staff scattered around were friendly and able to answer questions, but kept their distance. Mask wearing and touch less checkout.

We had a lot of options of where to go for our first-ever blueberry picking and I’m so grateful we chose Bumbleberry Acres. Plenty of space, great petting zoo, and lots for kids to do (obstacle course, swings). Our favorite part, though, was Gabe. He’s part of the 21 person family running this place who was chocked full of excellent info. Like, how Gabe’s mom should realize that his idea to have a Pygmy goat pens added to the petting zoo is pure genius????.
