Great place for an afternoon hike. We parked down by Valley Ridge Drive NW and walked down to the River. Beautiful landscape, lots of mature trees and we finished it off with some time at the park.

Open to the public. The University of Calgary Outdoor Centre has been renting gear and teaching / leading outdoor activities for over 40 years. We're conveniently located in northwest Calgary, only five minutes from the Trans-Canada highway, and 45 minutes from the Rockies. Out-of-town customers are welcome.
