Great to have a pleasant walk alongside lake and crossing Cunningham bridge to land at Main beach. Can play at lake side water.

This is a short 5Km walk and takes the average person around 2 hours to do the circuit. Be aware of soft sand - it can be a bit taxing if you haven't walked for a while. Walk with the wind (if easterly then do the beach first, if blowing a westerly do the bush track first). If you love the birds, you might hear/see 20 different species along the walk. Be aware there could be the odd snake out (even in winter), but they tend to be more scared of you. I might be lucky enough to see one once a year. Blue tongue lizards are a lot more common. Don't forget to bring your binoculars too. There are normally up to 40 seals to be seen (very hard to spot when in amongst the rocks on the other side of the entrance).

A nice place to enjoy the lake and the marina. We were there towards the sunset. It was peaceful. There were lots of boats there. The river was calm and we stood there looking the view. Worthwhile to see!
