This bookstore is a treasure trove of books for readers of all kinds; it's spacious & the old wooden floors creak as you walk. There's a children's section, books for young adults & everything else under the sun! There is ample room for browsing along the stacks & the books are well organized.

The store has a nice selection of vintage Native American jewelry, some from the Fred Harvey era. It is located across from the Visitors Center, and the newly renovated Costaneda Hotel - popular on the train route across the Southwest. Harvey Girls served in the famous restaurant there at that time. The Rough Riders antique store is staffed by very friendly and knowledgeable folks. A must stop in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
