Fairfield was founded in 1856 by clippership captain Robert H. Waterman, and named after his former hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut.

I love the 15 minute drive from the freeway to get to Cal Yee Farms...it is a beautiful drive! This is an awesome place to get CA gold dried fruits and nuts and make your own gift baskets. Highly recommend this historical shop, and suggest stopping on your way back at one of the Suisun Valley wineries for a tasting.
