Came with my family and it was a great afternoon Spent hours here and this was the first time we had come to the shooting range Staff was really friendly, funny and helpful! Price was $25 for any guns you wanted but the price for ammo was a lot.. you spent most your money on the ammo But overall was a great experience and will definitely recommend and come back here!

I am a new shooter and was looking for a comfortable place in the Tampa area to practice and learn how to be a responsible gun owner. Florida Firearms Academy is not the swankiest nor the scrappiest range in town. Of all the ranges I went to, they were the kindest and had the most reasonable membership fee. (To another range: What's with a $100 initiation fee on top of a membership fee???) I really appreciate that everyone is focused on making sure that people who own guns are responsible and safe. At the same time, there was no screaming Range Officer like the ones I could hear at other places. I made it clear that this was my first pistol and the whole staff was considerate without being condescending. They also have a woman on staff. This shows their commitment to responsible gun ownership rather than maintaining an all boy's club. Can't beat $1 for a big target.

The knowledge absorbed from the Instructor, Gabriel is awesome. His presentation was so valuable and and information learned straight from his Experiences could not be matched. The Security Officer is an extremely valuable asset to the corporation they work for and Gabriel gave a whole new Outlook on this profession. So many daily activities at any given employer directly effected by the Security Officer . Thank you Gabriel for your instruction.. It was a great class the other students were also great and I would highly recommend taking this course, if lucky your instructor will be Gabriel. Many thanks. Bonnie Stubbins
