Coyaba Beach Resort is poised on the 2.5-miles stretch of pristine Grand Anse Beach, renowned world over as one of the Caribbean’s best beaches for natural beauty, on the island of Grenada. Coyaba’s ambiance of intimacy, with full amenities for the classic Caribbean vacation, to remarkable design theme with attributes to exemplify centuries ago Arawak Indian-life, all combine to make this resort a one-of-kind gem. A resort primarily drawing celebrating couples.
Well I have to start by saying that we were at the hotel at the same time as the last reviewers and I do know that for a couple who were and who had just got married they were awfully grumpy for the most part and looking to pick holes in everything. I do agree with some parts, the dress code was confusing at meal time because the other restaurant wasn't open and this was was not made clear to us even when we were there. We felt that the food at lunch was a lot better then the evening but there was still a good choice and you could always eat off the payable menu which they discounted. The staff although a lot of them were quiet were very good and very attentive, although you do need to remember where you are, and most things are done in Caribbean time. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds were really well kept with lots of fruit and coconut trees, birds, lizards etc. The beach is one of the best beaches I've ever seen looking into Saint George's, which on a sunny day it stunning, and if you fancy a walk (20 mins, up a decent size hill), then go to the BBC beach which is stunning. Overall this may not be the cheapest place to go but it is well worth the money, the staff all try their really hard to make this a great stay for everybody.

I can’t say enough good things about Gems and their staff, particularly Delsin and Cathy. We stayed near Mourne Rouge for two months and spent every weekend at least under a tree by Gems. They really made us feel so welcome and like we were part of a big family. Great Rum punch and the salt cod fritters and bakes are the best. Great Saturday night beach bbq as well

My husband and I stayed at 473 for 3 nights in the Oceanside Villa with a private pool. It was towards the end of the first leg of our honeymoon and we were looking forward to relaxing. It was PERFECT! The Al fresco kitchen and dining area has great views we couldn’t get enough of. It’s is right on the water and is covered, so we could maximize our time outdoors through the random spurts of daily rain in Grenada. We spent a lot of our time relaxing outdoors by the private pool and basically didn’t leave the property the whole 3 days (except to walk to the blowhole nearby and get our Covid tests to fly out). The team was great with communicating and they take their Covid-19 protocols seriously! Communication during our stay was through WhatsApp and we had all our meals delivered to our door at the time of our choosing. The same great views can be experienced from you the “living room” section and the bed. We found that we had Netflix available, which was an unexpected treat. The outdoor shower had good water pressure and it was nice it was separated from the toilet area. The only improvement would be to add a hook on the outside for easy access to towel or robe when done showering. There’s one just inside, so it wasn’t a big deal to open the door and reach in. It’s a little pricier than we wanted to spend, but totally worth it and we are so happy we booked. Honestly, we debated canceling the rest of our trip and staying here!

Maca Bana is an intimate boutique hotel comprising 7 artistically designed, solar-powered ‘banas’ with gorgeous ocean views and private massaging hot tubs above our tropical Aquarium Restaurant on Magazine Beach. Laid-back luxury and unrivaled privacy for a sensual & inspiring holiday experience in a warm atmosphere.
My friend and I stayed in the Mango villa which was enormous and had the most amazing view and a hot tub on the deck. The beach that Maca Bana is on must be the most beautiful on the island. And the restaurant, Aquarium was absolutely wonderful. Really fabulous food, the best wine cellar on the island and all in the most beautiful setting. But what sets Maca Bana apart are the people who work there. Joanna, Uli and Josh went above and beyond to look after us. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Grenada.

Warm friendly service, outstanding accommodation with the convenience of kitchen facilities in most rooms, a pool bar, restaurant and laundry room and a lush garden adds to the charm of this new Caribbean Resort. It is ideally located just a few steps away from the Dr. Grooms Beach.
Off the beaten path. Walking distance to the beach (less than 5 minutes ). Quiet and Clean. Rooms are very spacious and very clean. The staff are very attentive to your needs. The food is excellent at very reasonable prices. The bar is very well shocked. Equipped with adequate air conditioning for when it gets hot. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended ?
