Manama, capital of the island nation of Bahrain, is a major financial center with a thriving economy. A surplus of money has decorated the skyline with glass and steel spires, and plans for the tallest tower in the world. Although Bahrain is an Islamic country, alcohol is legal, and Manama has a thriving nightlife, with clubs and bars popular with visitors from all over the world. The narrow rows of stalls at the Bab el-Bahrain souk are famous for their vast array of perfumes, spices, and gold.

A great busy place to walk around, look for trinkets, get some amazing food and people watch. Busy and bustling, lots of narrow streets with hidden gems.

Finally I visited @muktaa2bahrain one of the recent theatres in Bahrain.Located at the Juffair, a six screen multiplex with state of the art technology. ⠀ A luxury experience is Guaranteed with their 180 recliner sofas, pillow, quilt & a variety of food and beverage options served with on seat facilities for a more personalized experience ???????????????? ⠀ This is by far 1 of the top 3 cinemas in town and truly worth a visit, I will definitely be visiting this cinema again ????

On my first visit in December 2019,I went alone on a private tour. There was no one else there and I felt at one with this lone tree in the middle of the desert. This trip I was with a group and unfortunately there were so many other tours and crowds of people, it felt like we were swarming (desecrating) this ancient marvel. How it survives for hundreds of years without any water source is a msytery. There is actually a learning center with historical posters and information and facts about the tree and surrounding area.
