This is a lovely wee harbour, always busy with fishing boats and you can catch the boat over to ailsa craig here and also the waverley paddle steamer. Lots of seating along the harbour on both sides, its nice place to eat your fish n chips! If you cross the harbour you will find the new kindness path that was created by the local care home. Paint a stone with a kindness message and leave to brighten up someones day! Girvan has been recently voted best seaside town in ayrshire and I have said this for many years. I have loads of happy childhood memories spending my holidays in Girvan. Loads of parking, toilets, chips shops, amusments etc but sadly not as many as there used to be but hopefully people will invest back in to this beautiful town!
