The Hollinger Golf Club is one of Northern Ontario's finest Championship golf courses and is the only 18-hole fully bent grass Championship golf course in the region. The Highlands Course, our Front 9, features elevated views with holes winding through the Canadian shield. The sixth hole is one most players will talk about as it is very unique because of the elevation changes, split fairway and spectacular views. The Lakelands Course, our Back 9, is cut through the lower part of the property where multiple ponds and streams come into play on most holes. The finishing holes, where the course moves back toward the higher ground, are some of the strongest holes on the golf course and feature stunning views of the property as well as wonderful views of the city.

When playing the Spruce Needles Golf Club in Timmins, it is sometimes easy to forget that this gorgeous Northern Ontario golf course lies well within the city limits. So dense is the forest around many of the holes that the golfers are afforded complete privacy, not only from the sites and sounds of the city, but from their golfers as well. The course itself features a championship length challenge in the traditional style. All greens are well protected by bunkers and water is in play about half of the holes. Despite the presence of so many trees, golfers are aided by Spruce Needles' generous landing areas and its large accommodating greens. The superb condition of the fairways and greens testify to maintenance program that is second to none. This hidden gem is enjoyed by golfers of all levels, simply for its beautiful condition and picturesque scenery.A beautiful 18 hole golf course, complete with full practice facility and a complete fine dining experience makes the Spruce Needles Club, northern Ontario's greatest golf experience.
