Drifting serenely in the Gulf of Thailand, the palm-fringed island of Ko Tao takes its name from the abundant sea turtles that reside on its shores. White sand beaches sheltered by steep hills – some only accessible with four-wheel drive vehicles – and 300 days of sun per year invite long afternoons of lounging.

A nice bay with lot of fishes and marine life. The corals are mostly dead except one patch where you can take a kayak or swim and watch the marine diversity. The water is crystal clear. If you are staying at the mango bay resort, this is a fantastic place to just sit and enjoy. The bay is a bit windy so sometimes kayak is wobbly and no way to get to the bay except water.
