We did our tasting with Andrew. He was knowledgeable about the wines as well as attentive. The winery is cute inside and has a beautiful copper top tasting bar. The dry riesling was a highlight as well as the bubble cerise.

Staff is friendly. They have legit nitro cold brew, and it’s delicious!! The wings are a good spiced flavor. The rueben is nice and crispy, could have more corned beef otherwise it was made to perfection. It’s cash/check only so make sure you come prepared!

Aurora Cellars is a full production boutique winery with old world charm nestled in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula. We’re proud to offer our award-winning wines from grapes grown throughout the peninsula along with epicurean small plates sourced locally to complement your wine tasting experience. Aurora Cellars is known for its welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. This ensures the rich treasures of this Estate can be savored and enjoyed in our European styled tasting room or on the patio overlooking the vineyard with a picturesque vista! The Estate transcends into the perfect setting for weddings and specials events of all kinds.
We came here with family and everyone was friendly, physically distanced, good wine, and nice atmosphere. Would return.

Our hope for all who visit is to create lasting memories of enjoying fine estate grown wines at the water’s edge. We have 21 acres of planted vines including Riesling, Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Regent, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Chardonnay and Syrah. Our Signature Wine is Boathouse Red, a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah grapes. Boaters welcome
My boyfriend and I stopped by this beautiful and friendly vineyard after we visited Fishtown nearby. Carol, our host was the hostess with the mostest. She made sure we were well taken care during our visit. We were the only patrons on a Tuesday afternoon and we sat on the patio (with heaters) looking at a soothing river (we think it's part of Lake Leelan). We visited a few wineries in the area and we have to admit their white wines were the best, particularly their bubbles, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Ciders. Their pricing for these wines was more than reasonable compared to other wineries we've visited. We have been pretty spoiled by Californian wines for many years and had the opportunity to visit France and Italy's wine regions, this vineyard is a must visit if you are in Michigan.
