Zelenogradsk (Russian: Зеленогра́дск (help·info)), prior to 1946 known by its German name Cranz (Lithuanian: Krantas), is a town and the administrative center of Zelenogradsky District in Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, located 34 kilometers (21 mi) north of Kaliningrad, the administrative center of the oblast, on the Sambian coastline near the Curonian Spit on the Baltic Sea. Population: 13,026 (2010 Census); 12,509 (2002 Census); 10,786 (1989 Census).

Eco-site "Zeleny Kot "(zelekot) is a large-scale project of the XXI century about ecology and reasonable consumption. What are we doing? In an interesting and exciting way, we promote and implement: eco-education, eco-production, reasonable consumption, careful attitude to the environment, separate waste collection (RSO). What is already there? On November 19, 2020, the first stage of the Green Cat Eco-site opened, which includes: a Junk market, a RSO reception point, a public toilet-Boutique, a wind power plant (wind turbine). What will happen? In the next two years will be built: MU MU KA (Museum of Garbage Kaliningrad) - branch of the Art Museum of Garbage "MU MU" (Kaluga region), ecocamping, ecopark, various workshops.
