Great place to take the dog, small woods to walk through as well as an open field for running or playing ball, small park for kids to keep them entertained as they dont want to walk. Great in the summer

Ideal spot for some free range dog walking and relaxation. Yes you can hear the traffic from the roads but you can ignore that and concentrate on the beautiful nature and lovely trails. Cafe an added bonus. Highly recommended for dog walkers for stress free off lead time. Very enjoyable Sunday morning x

Extremely picturesque site for plein air artists. It is a bit of a hike from the car park, about 10 minutes, but the view is lovely and fresh. As this was August families were enjoying picnics, and Ripley village - also very pretty and artistic material - is close by. I highly recommend this for a day out.
