Escape the beach and discover the true heart of Fiji. Such an experience to spend a day on such a remote island in the South Pacific. The islanders were so welcoming, especially the teachers at their primary school.Good swimming and snorkelling opportunities. Speed boat tours from 10Fijian Dollars upwards. Crystal clear waters. Pity about the islander who imprisoned a sea turtle in a bath and who was charging 5 dollars for tourists to photograph this beautiful and endangered species.

Did a spontaneous climb up Mt.Korobaba..It takes a lot of energy and sweat to reach the Top.We left around 11:30am in the Morning..It’s best you take the Hike around 7am while the Sun is still down and take lots of Water. And a Light Snack. We made it in time to see the View of the Capital before Dark Clouds covered The Capital And we were hit with Heavy Rain..It was Great! The Rain cooled us off.The walk down is more steeper and muddy and slippery after rain and you’re bound to fall. All in All a Great Experience,i would do this again..

Take a dip in one of the natural swimming pools, follow a nature trail and keep your ears and eyes ready to spot the numerous birds that inhabit this park.
We caught the local bus from the market in Suva and got off outside. We paid the minimal fee to get in and walked in. One of the local workers guided us and we had a fantastic walk through the rainforest. It is very wet and you really need to wear safety shoes or something solid as it gets muddy etc. That was part of what I liked about it, the rawness of it. Lots of places to swim along the way and at the end a big pool where a lot of locals and tourists were swimming and jumping of a swinging rope. Definitely worth the excursion

This park was made famous when Charles Kingsford-Smith made an emergency landing here on his 1928 trans-Pacific flight.
Recently restored it is a historically important public park and all Fijians should be very proud of it... Its located near the water-front of Suva between the High Courts of Fiji and the Museum

This is one of the most beautiful gardens we seen. some of the flowering trees were in full bloom as well as some of the flowers. There are easy level walking paths to take you around and through the planting areas. You will also find benches to sit and enjoy the quiet surroundings. There is a museum in the rear that has a lot of historic artifacts from the Suva area and Fiji. This is a must see if you visit the area and need a place to get away from the hustle and bustle.
