After a few days of rain everything turns green up here. So nice to see and walk through. We are only a few miles away and had never taken the hike. Our neighbors recommended it and we were glad we decided to see for ourselves. Depending on which trail you take, there is a variety. Some historical buildings are worth seeing. Some trails have resting spots. Before you go check out their website for what attracts you.

I liked the California Oaks Sports Park. There were lots of sports. They had skateboarding and a playground. There were a lot to do in sports: Tennis, courts, basketball, a youth center. In fact they could play also other sports like football and baseball. They had trees and shelters. There is a beautiful swimming pool as well. A must to see! Wow!

The hike is secluded and beautiful. It isn't too long, only about a half a mile or so. Consider going within a few days of rain. There were many flowers in bloom at the time. This is a great hike for family and kids. Remain cautious on the rocks surrounding the falls. They have been polished by water and movement for millions of years and are extremely slick. Well worth the experience. Bring lots of water in the summertime! Happy hiking.
