Suluada, meaning Water island in Turkish, is probably my favourite beach in Turkey. It gets it’s name from the natural spring located on the island where you can fill up a bottle or just stick your head underneath and drink from it. Only accessible by boat, the island doesn’t look like much when you’re sailing towards it but as you get closer you may think you’ve arrived in the Maldives as the water is so crystal clear. The only negative thing is it’s not a hidden gem so can get very, very busy in high season with boat loads of tourists pulling up. So..my advice is go early or out of season to enjoy this beautiful beach in all it’s glory.
