Destin is located on Florida’s Emerald Coast, which gets its name from its beautiful, clear green water. Beaches here have extremely fine, soft sand, so if you’re a beach-walker or your kids enjoy building sand castles, this could be a great destination for you.

Caricature and cartoon studio.
Talented and cordial. Lot's of pictures and examples to choose from but does excellent free hand work also. Very good sense of humor. Packages up nicely for you to travel back with. Takes a little bit of time if having to wait but it's fun to watch and lots to do right there. Price wise not bad. Worth the price, worth the memory. Fun experience!

Oh my goodness!!!! This place is awesome and such a wonderful experience. As soon as you walk into the Redbird Art Experience, you're in awe of your surroundings. This place is so unbelievably cool. The whole concept behind this place is just fantastic. There are massive amounts of beads, glass, bottles, rocks, ribbons, etc... for you to use to create your masterpiece. Robin was so helpful and assisted me with everything. This is a great idea for kids and adults, especially if it happens to be a rainy day in Destin. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would definitely return and take family with me!!!!!!

Experience the historic and educational exhibits detailing early Destin life from the 1830s. Witness the birth and evolution of a fishing industry that has become the heritage of the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village". View over 60 mounts of fish caught by anglers in Destin waters and learn about local fish and fishing. See the restored "Primrose", Destin's last seine boat and the original first post office building that served the early pioneers.
This is a small very nice museum just off of 98 in Destin. The exhibits were first rate. The staff are volunteers who have lived their entire lives in Destin. They are very knowledgeable. The local fishing, fishing history, and pretty much anything of interest in the area they can tell you. There is a leader board and some videos of the annual fishing competition that takes place the entire month of october. Very reasonable admission. A few outside exhibits and the old post office building. I've been there twice and will go again.

This shop is one of my favorite places as it has interesting gift ideas and very stylish clothes plus jewelry. I always find great gifts to take home for special people. Many interesting items for use outdoors plus prints and quotes for framing.
The Foster Gallery opened in May 2016 as an artist collective led by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County that features at least a dozen artists on a seasonally rotating basis, along with special exhibits.

The owner whom I have never met spends much effort finding things from unique artists with the customer in mind. Quality purses and wallets are made by a woman who started while living in her car. I love the one I purchased. I did almost all of my Christmas shopping in 2018 at Magnolia House. Jewelry, hostess gifts, table ware, soft socks and sweaters, some clothing for baby gifts, decorative items. Any time to shop is good but especially at Christmas.
