I was attracted to the price and location for a little getaway. It’s perfectly walking distance from Mill ave bars. I walked with my boyfriend down the street to get breakfast in the morning. There’s a CVS and a bank nearby and tons of places to eat. The area is a bit dodgy with some homeless people around but not too bad, there’s a residential neighborhood behind it and a main road in front. The room was updated, and the bed was very comfy. There isn’t counter space in the bathroom so u have to dangle your essentials between the edge of the sink, on the tp ledge or towel rack. The glass wall in the shower is poorly designed with the opening where the water aims at so you will end up with water on the floor afterwards. The toilet paper bar was barely hanging on the wall and broke off in my hand so i called to report it and they said they would come fix it after we left. They do want your id, your guest’s id, and license plates at checkin. There’s signs to register ur license plate to avoid being towed and the front desk lately said she would take note of it for us instead, i still felt like i should text the number anyway just in case. The lady at the front was very friendly and got us extra towels. Overall, a good price for the bed and location but i think they spent a lil too much energy in trying to look modern but forgot to have it be functional in the bathroom.

My adult daughter stayed long-term at the Studio 6 Tempe Arizona from January-February 2022 for approximately four weeks. She called the Front Desk on Sunday, 02/13, to reserve her room for one more week. She was informed that they were quite busy at the time, but eventually that evening she was able to inform them she wanted to reserve one more week. They did not ask for her card to charge for the week, I don’t know why. My daughter did not know she had to pay for the week stay by 11 am the next day. The hotel attempted to call her 2-3 times on Monday, 02/14, but she does not carry her phone on her at work. She was going to pay for the stay after work. When she returned to the hotel after work, they had confiscated all her belongings from her room, and she was told she would not be able to stay at the hotel until she got permission from a manager the next day. She was treated very coldly and rudely. Keep in mind, she had stayed at the hotel for three weeks by then. Long story, short she attempted to retrieve her belongings on Tuesday and Wednesday and was told they were not available to return to her. Keep in mind she did not have access to her clothes, laptop, food, and toiletries. When her property was eventually returned days later, at least half of the items were missing, which included 9 months’ worth of contact lens, glasses, clothes, mail with personally identifiable information, toiletries, and priceless, sentimental items. This series of unfortunate events reflects on questionable and incompetent practices by the management and front desk staff. I will say that my daughter felt safe at this hotel, so I am very grateful for that.

I stayed here for my daughter's graduation and from the moment of check in this place lacked anyone who cared. Waited 5 minutes before someone showed up to check me in. On the way to check in noticed a gathering of men in the parking lot. Thought they were guest but they were not they just used the hotels facilities. No one on staff seemed to care. Next morning went to walk my dog and a Pitbull, off lease came running at my dog. It belonged to one of the men gathered in the parking lot. Next morning woke up to find 2 of my bikes had been stolen off the back of my car. Went to report it to management and again no one there waited again for 5 minutes before anyone showed up. Told them what happened and they acted as if this happened all the time and was routine. Not a single concern that one of their guests had been robbed. Safety of the guest should be the number one priority of a property but that was totally missing at this property.

Motel 6 Phoenix Tempe - Priest Drive, ASU campus, Diablo Stadium (Spring home of the Anaheim Angels), and the Phoenix Zoo. For your convenience we also offer a coin laundry facility. Free Wi-Fi. Modern Rooms.
The room was clean but very basic. No extra t-paper, no tissues, certainly no shampoo or conditioner. The entire outside of this Motel 6 needs to be scrubbed. There is a Marriott and. Hyatt just down the street. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra.

Motel 6 Scottsdale South is located within 3 miles of ASU campus, Tempe Town Lake and the Phoenix Zoo. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Friendly staff at check in. I actually thought bed was comfortable despite dingy sheets that made me feel a little dirty. They also allow dogs no extra fee. I had 2 50 pounders so that limits my hotel options. Friendly roach in our room. Room was rather grimy. There’s a penny on the floor in bathroom, if you stay in room 123, pretty sure it’ll still be there because it doesn’t look like it’s actually cleaned. In pic is the roach that was scurrying across the furniture…he didn’t live to scurry any further. Though I am curious how cleaning crew misses trash stuffed in peephole on door. Guess so paranoid individuals can feel safe. Also, how is light switch melted?! It was in desperation to get a hotel; it was an outrageous nightly rate ($164 w tax) for a roach motel. Spend the extra $$ is my suggestion for a cleaner place.

I am not really a "reviews" person, but there is no way I could let this awful experience go without trying to warn others. Please do not stay here. Not only was it downright DISCUSTINGLY dirty, but it was also very unsafe. We got into the room and we were immediately hit with a terrible stale smoke smell. Definitely, no exaggeration, the worst thing I have ever smelled in my life. If that wasn't bad enough, the bed spread was stained so bad with tons of black spots everywhere. There were cigarette burns on the counter and the floor. While we were waiting to get a new room, my friend and I really didn't even feel comfortable standing in the room to wait. But what was more uncomfortable than being in the room was being out of it. This place is crawling with shady characters who are very very clearly on meth/heroin/ or crack. We got stared down by multiple people that made us both feel unsafe in a way we have never felt. We both agreed if we would have stayed there, we would certainly be robbed or worse. Before we even got a new place to stay (we had no plan and we did not even have a car with us), we got a refund and went to the restaurant next door to figure out our next step. This restaurant had gun shots in the window if that tells you anything about the area. Anyways, please, please, please do not stay here. I have never felt so passionate to get the word out about anything. I can't really even describe the fear we felt being there.
