We have stayed at this motel a number of times and it has always been consistently a great stay. When we found out it had new owners we were hoping that it still had high standards. Happy to report that it does! The room was impeccably clean, quiet, attractively decorated, the bed was comfortable, the towels were soft, large counter space for bathroom sink, nice fridge, mw, and well maintained motel property including the parking lot. The view from our room was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Traditional Canadian hospitality, 1 blk east of city centre with beautiful riverside location. Air-conditioned, refurbished ground level units, queen beds, DD phones, cable TV, fridges, large heated seasonal pool, picnic tables, bbqs, fax service, reasonable rates, free wireless internet access
The staff was very welcoming even though we arrived late at night and had no reservation. The motel is charming, very clean and renovated. The back door opens to a patio along the river. We ate breakfast watching the river and the birds. We highly recommend this motel.

DONT BELIEVE THE PICTURES..We booked this online. When we arrived we ahould have known better than to oversee all the toys and garbage strewn out front. When we went in to register the "lobby" was worse than the outside. We got our room key and off we went to the back end of the building. There was no one else there except one other couple right next door. We got out of our vehicle and were swarmed by mosquitos. We didnt even check the room. We were out of there. The guy at the front desk i thought was very understanding said to cancel my booking through the website and he wont put through the charge on my Credit Card.. Ya he put it through...place is a dump!!!

We are located in beautiful Christina Lake. We are in the process of renovating our rooms. We have 30 rooms. Some rooms contain kitchenettes. All rooms have coffee pots, mini fridges, and microwaves. Some are pet-friendly. Our pet-friendly rooms are beautiful and have tile flooring. We also have 48 RV sites with water and power, plus a Sani-dump.
Stayed two nights mid-August. Room with queen bed, single sofa, a table and two chairs. Table at a dark corner so extra lamp would be nice. Love the two bedside touch lamps with handy electric plug-ins (4 total) and UBS ports. Old-styled wall A/C a bit loud but I slept well! Kitchenette got everything basic you need. Two mini fridges! Bathroom fine. Love the soft carpet. Staff (a couple, owner?) very helpful. Motel on Hwy 3 (but not directly on) at edge of town, one minute drive to the Provincial Park with gorgeous sandy beach and warm water. Gas station, a restaurant, ice-cream shop, cafe, burger and pizza take-out (all with outdoor seatings) within a couple minutes' drive. Also in the vicinity, a short easy loop trail called Christina Creek Trail. Beautiful white lotus flowers abound on the creek under the bridge.

Cheap the room rate, cheap the furnishings, cheap the linen, cheap the soundproofing, cheap the wifi if you can connect, cheap the bottomless bathroom vanity. If you want cheap with all that's listed, this is the place for you or go elsewhere.
