Reviewed By 459235The front desk lady with the red hair was extremely unhelpful and discourteous. You’d expect to be greeted when you come into the hotel you are staying at with someone who is kind, helpful and has a smile on their face. That unfortunately wasn’t the case here. We will not be coming back solely for that reason. The rooms also were dirty, cobwebs in the windows, black hair on my bed, the bathroom also had a stain in the toliet(stool), etc.

We checked in Saturday night and Ryan at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart, he was so so nice. Our room was on the second floor, all of the finishes and furniture look updated and very clean. Our room was great! Mini fridge, microwave and Keurig with coffee pods was a nice touch. Nice comfy king sized bed with good pillows and linens. Large bathroom had a tub/shower, plenty of linens and even a hair dryer. The room was fresh and clean, not stale, and not overly smelly from cleaners/air freshener type smells. Breakfast the next morning was a super surprise. Katrina was the one who prepared breakfast and it was amazing! Biscuits and gravy, bacon and cheese omelets and they were really good. There was a ton of other food also, cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, a pancake machine and cereal plus more. We didn’t dig into the other amenities that it had to offer there, but the basics that we used were perfect. We will definitely be back when we are in town again.

Reviewed By Aztek62Room not very nice: carpet dirty and frayed; fan loud and annoying going on and off every 2 minutes; mold or something on bathroom ceiling; TV controller impossible to work. Also had to wait over 10 minutes to check in.

Worst Hotel I Have Ever Experienced
Reviewed By Rommel_01The whole place looked slovenly. The carpets were stained and badly in need of cleaning. The bathroom still needed sweeping. Half the lights didn’t work, and the dead latch on the door was broken. The smoke detector needed a fresh batter and chirped loudly every 30 seconds. First, we requested that the battery be replaced. The desk attendant handed me a new battery. After he inspected the room to verify our complaints (which we did very politely), he told us that the maintenance man would be in tomorrow morning. Since we were leaving early in the morning, that didn’t help much. He couldn’t get the lights to work or the door to lock. We requesting another room, hopefully with working lights and a lockable door. He called the owner, who refused to give us a different room. At that point I asked for a refund and drove next door to a Holiday Inn Express, very accommodating and a much nicer and secure room for not much more. This ends my curiosity about budget hotels, and also very disappointed in Tom Bodette, but I think even he gave up on them.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed.
Reviewed By DougH786Parking lot and grounds surrounding the property were littered with trash. Bottles, cans, COVID masks smashed styrofoam coolers and whatever you can imagine. Room was spartan. One small bar of soap. No shampoo. No hair dryer. Light in bath area was burned out as was the sleeping area light. Outlets by the sink had no power. Only one other outlet was available. Floor had not been mopped. Outside noise was unbearable. Loud trucks coming and going all night long. Worst place I’ve ever stayed in.
