We stayed at Happy Farm for four days at Christmastime, and it was our favorite stay in southern Vietnam. It is run by a lovely couple, Koi and Oanh, who work hard to give their guests a wonderful stay. We loved Oanh’s cooking, the animals, and their adorable children. Oanh made sure to cook our favorite dishes when we mentioned our preferences and asked to try specific items. The bungalows are rustic, so no hot water for bathing, and you may see a spider or too - but it is a farm! Oanh and Koi, thank you for your kindness and hospitality! We hope to be back to visit again!

Situated on one of the most beautiful islands on Mekong River, Cai Be town, Tien Giang province, just about 2 hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Rustic Cai Be with 15 family bungalows and 4 homestay rooms stands beside famous Cai Be floating market. Surrounded by lush fruit gardens, it emphasizes the natural beauty that is seldom visited on this rural Mekong Delta area. Despite 80 percent of the Vietnamese population living in the countryside, visitors to Vietnam are rarely given an opportunity to peek beneath the veil of this age-old culture. Our goal is to set a benchmark in eco-tourism here that can be replicated throughout the region in order to preserve the natural ecology and improve local community living standard. It is not merely the beautiful surroundings or the brick and mortar of villages that made up the community; it is the people who live in it. At Mekong Rustic, whats important to us is that you experience the true authentic Vietnamese culture.
If you want to see how the people really live you need to stay with this group you will appreciate everything you have and find a new found respect for the people I will definitely make another trip here in the future.

A boutique design hotel with the most awarded restaurant (Chez Loan) in the Mekong Delta. We are located amidst a picturesque fruit tree plantation along the Mekong River in the town of Cai Be, the center of the Mekong Delta, only two hours from Saigon. All our rooms are individual stand-alone bungalows. We provide a wide selection of Mekong Delta.
We stayed there for 2 nights, the lodge created a good balance between nature and modern living, bright and clean room with tropical trees around. We had our dinner for 2 nights there, amazing food especially for the barbecue set, and we're all very impressed by the half day tour booked by the lodge as well, We went on a boat and visited the local guide's home for lunch, plus a lovely bike ride around the village. Also, the host of the lodge, Loan is very attentive and nice, she shared her medicines with us as we needed help.

We have 3 houses, one on river view and two houses on garden view at Cai Be. We also have 6 bikes to drive around free of charge. My mom cook local food very well and williing to cook.
The place was kind of hard to find for the motorbikes but we eventually got in. My dad and I rented a whole apartment (two floor) and it felt like home! The only thing that I didn't like was how the bathroom was downstairs and the bedroom was upstairs. The food there is really good! Since this was Can Tho, this was way better than I expected!
