Professional British photographer Patrick Richmond Nicholas organizes photography workshops and guided private tours as Camera Etrusca in central Italy. Based in Orvieto, he goes off the beaten track into the surrounding countryside of Tuscany and Umbria by Land Rover to places you would never discover on your own. He also does walking tours round the back streets of Orvieto, private tours and photo workshops in Rome and Tivoli. Patrick knows all the areas surrounding Orvieto, including Rome, intimately, and will share his knowledge with you as well as his experience of teaching photography, at all levels. Half day and whole day tours. Patrick has lived in Italy for 25 years, speaks Italian fluently and can guide you with or without a camera, around the Tuscan and Umbrian towns and hamlets - indeed better than most of the locals! His other passion, beside photography, is the history of the area, from the Etruscans of three thousand years ago through the Renaissance to the recent past and he’s happy to enlighten others. If you want to learn about this fascinating corner of Italy, include him in your travel plans.

We are a small, family owned company. The items we offer are all hand painted by us here in Deruta. We are focused on tableware and giftware.
We have been going to Geribi for 12 years. We bought a home in Umbria at that time and of course needed ceramics. So a trip to Deruta was necessary. My husband was drawn to their designs. Their store and their family have been wonderful over the years. We have many pieces they created in our home in California. And they are the first things people comment on. About how beautiful they are. We have taken all of our friends who visit us in Umbria to Geribi - they always leave with some treasure. We have purchased wedding gifts and Christmas gifts over the year. Recipients always are delighted. This is a family run business and Gerardo and Claudia treat everyone who enters the door with kindness. A visit to Geribi is absolutely a must.
