Large room but tired decor - breakfast is ok - dinner is ok

The staff at reception as well as in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) are not very warm nor friendly. As a guest you do not feel too welcome.. Anyway - room is large with dated decor. The electricity plug in the bathroom (room 122) was not working. Quiet. Wifi signal is very weak and does not reach this room. All in all - its ok but at the price, it should step up the service and upgrade.

Reviewed By defriesenThis is a wonderful quaint bed and breakfast. We stayed here in May of this year. I think we got the biggest room in the hotel. Perhaps it's because this was our second time here and we booked well in advance. We loved the room and the staff is helfpul and kind. The rouladen is one of the best we had in Germany and the breakfast was quite satisfying. The location is perfect for Worlitzer Park and it's quite close to Wittenburg. If in the area again would definitely stay here.

Reviewed By keiths663We stopped off at the Wörlitzer Hof for a coffee break during a tour of the English garden in Wörlitz. It is situated just outside the grounds of the garden. We then decided to return in the evening for dinner. This proved to be a good choice. The food was excellent and very well presented. The staff were very friendly. A restaurant to be recommended.

Reviewed By keiths663We stayed one night during our visit to Wörlitz. The hotel provides basic, clean accommodation. The staff are extremely friendly. The room prices are good value. If you are looking for a place to stay with no frills attached but in a quiet idyllic spot then the Elbterrasse is the right place. The breakfast was in the form of a buffet and eggs were cooked to order - very nice too. The hotel offers free wifi with a strong signal. I can recommend a stay.

Reviewed By MariaP1779DEI went to the Parkhotel ,Woerlitz, but did not stay there. I did enjoy the Woerlitz Park with its natural landscape and man-made lake. With a history dating back approximately 1,000 years, Woerlitz made its mark in the second half of the eighteenth century when it became home to Woerlitz Park. There are beautiful English-style gardens open to the public.
