It all began in 1995, as we landed in Normandy… the southern girl that I was, will have to get used to the « Wild West », I let you imagine the disruption in our lifestyle!Then in the fall of 1997, we accidentally discovered our dream house: an old « ruine » of the 18th century, for which we literally fell in love at first sight! At the bottom of a dead end there was this lovely south-facing little farm.
Lovely stop over
Reviewed By RichlmaSandrine was the perfect host. As we were just staying the one night before catching the ferry back to the UK, we had a small room, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs, with an en suite. Breakfast was lovely, with home made jams and cakes. In a nice quiet location. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you Sandrine.

Le Château Côte de Nacre, situé à côté du nouveau mémorial britannique de Ver sur Mer, est le havre de paix idéal à la visite des plages du débarquement. Les grands appartements modernes du château offrent un confort chaleureux et une vue sur la généreuse nature normande. Une promenade dans son parc de 4 hectares où s'épanouissent brebis, moutons, poules fera le plaisir des petits et des grands. La détente pourra se prolonger au spa du château et sur la plage située à 10 minutes à pied.
An exceptional family getaway
Reviewed By FranzLadsousWe stayed at the chateau for two nights in the terrace suite. The suite has two bedrooms a beautiful“parents” room and another with bunk beds. The kitchen is beautiful with stone counter tops, a Falcon cooking range and great views of the chateau grounds. And the main attraction is the grand living and dining room with its gigantic and beautiful carved stone fireplace. Everything is high-end, beautiful, and well thought out, like the direct access to the indoor swimming pool below. We had a great time, enjoyed the grounds and the ducks roaming around. It was a perfect weekend made even better by a very welcoming and friendly host.

Reviewed By Ghislaine PAccueil très jovial de la propriétaire. Nous avons juste eu le soucis du coffret (pas de repas compris ?). La maisonnette pour nous seuls. Petit bémol, les wc en bas. Dommage. Repas servi très bon, petit déjeuner parfait. Tranquillité du lieu, c'était parfait.

Beautiful studio appartement in an old Manoir
Reviewed By John ZWe stayed 4 night in a very comfortable studio appartment. IT was very well equiped with a complete kitchen and a nice bathroom. Good bed but a bit too firm for my taste. Cushions too soft. Certainly worth a visit!
