Great place to stay without driving too far out of the way
Reviewed By larsonnhOur family of 6 stayed here in two rooms on our way to Nashville. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot breakfast was delicious. They offer cold and hot drinks 24 hours a day as well. We were very happy that we had chosen the North Roanoke Best Western for our stay. Do become a Best Western member so that you can earn points toward discounted rooms. They are reliably good, clean hotels.

I opted for a whirlpool suite and was happy with the comfort the whirlpool provided after a day hiking up McAfees Knob. Breakfast was shockingly plentiful after the horrible covid breakfasts I've had in the past. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel for dinner :) Front desk staff was pleasant upon arrival.

Reviewed By DM4travelsPleasant surprise. Conveniently located. Friendly, helpful front desk. Several restaurant choices very close by. Parking seemed safe. Spacious room, Clean, clean, clean. Not sure about amenities offered. Missed the breakfast. Satisfied our needs of a clean comfy bed, clean bathroom, clean public areas. Would definitely stay again on our travels in the area.

Motel 6 Troutville VA is located off of US 11/Lee Highway, and within walking distance to area dining. Micro-fridge units and free Wi-Fi are in all of our modern rooms. Amenities also include a coin laundry, and semi-truck parking.
Rotting away
Reviewed By stephensZ9566YQStayed there shortly after it was acquired from Travelodge = excellent facility. Now, a few years later and several more stays, it has deteriorated to avoidance. The tub was awful, not sure if dirt or decay and did not want to touch to find out... Also only 1 chair in 2 bed, double occupancy room (not a biggy, but...) Sad to see the place rotting away. Will have to try Staunton or Roanoke next time.

My daughter had a great time in the in door pool and a hot breakfast was offered on the morning. I would definitely stay there again. Hopefully the elevator is fixed soon though!
