Boutique hotel well located for a weekend in picturesque South Queensferry. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good quality food. The staff are welcoming, very accommodating and are keen to assist you in any way they can. A very pleasant weekend stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the room was quiet despite being close to the lift. Many hotels have paper thin walls. This isn’t one of them. There are a wide selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants in South Queensferry and a very conveniently located Tesco should you have forgotten any grooming products. The hotel is also well located for trips to Edinburgh (short bus or train journey required). This is the second time I have stayed here when visiting friends in South Queensferry. Once pre Covid and once now. It won’t be my last stay here.

On the shore of the Firth of Forth, Queensferry is situated ten miles to the north of Edinburgh. So the Premier Inn Hotel Edinburgh (South Queensferry) is the ideal base for venturing into Scotland's first city, or for exploring the majestic landscape of the Lothians. Queensferry has some puzzling traditions, like the procession of the Burry Man and the annual dip in the Firth of Forth. But there are plenty of other things to do, such as a visit to the Georgian splendour of Hopetoun House or Dundas Castle. There are lots of business venues and good transport links. Once you're done for the day, come back to great food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.
Stayed here for a family get-together. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. A clean, comfortable room with a view of all three bridges across the Firth of Forth. The staff in the adjoining restaurant were most helpful and obliging, arranging a large table for us all for evening meals and breakfasts.

Very tasty food, lovely views (huge windows looking out at the bridges), great service, and superb atmosphere. Kids were made very welcome despite the classy feel to the place. I'd definitely go again if I was back in the Edinburgh area, next time to have lobster.

Historic Old World hotel with great bar/restaurant, 12-15 mins from airport, friendly staff, not plush but very adequate with Scottish charm. The 3 bridges of The River Forth within view and directly under the oldest train bridge. Age of the faculty showing a bit but I say embrace the historicity of this place!

Parkhead House offers unique overnight cottage stays with the added benefit of welcoming hosts and a great Scottish breakfast. This former Gamekeepers cottage is on the edge of an idyllic deer Park in open countryside yet only 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. We are just a short walk from "Lallybroch" and Hopetoun House both featured in the Outlander television series. We have two suites (a twin on the ground floor, and a two-bedroom suite on the 1st floor) all with wonderful views and access the parkland. Each suite is individual yet beautifully appointed with the highest standard of furnishings and can be booked for a stay of one night or for a stay as long as you require. We offer the freedom and flexibility of your own floor combined with the welcome of a traditional bed and breakfast. We are pet friendly and offer both Outlander, whisky and sightseeing tours of Scotland.
You feel immediately comfortabel and James is an incredible host. At this quite location there is one restaurant closeby for dinner. The timing was unfortunate for us, with the platinum celebration of the queen, only one chef was available doing one service. We where refused a table.James went over and beyond his call of duty, picked us up with his car and arranged a delivery on his recommendation. No worries on the bill, although we offered to pay. The next morning we were served a stunning breakfast. His passion of the local history is adorable and makes it all so special! For the lovers of “Outlander” it is a must as “Lallybroch “ is juist 2 minutes away. Wonderfull experience with great memories! Thank you James!

Boutique bed and breakfast nestled in the quaint majesty of South Queensferry, a cobblestone's throw from Edinburgh, Scotland and overlooking the might of the Forth Rail Bridge. Our four rooms - two kings, one double and one single - are offered with a rare fusion of Scottish and Australian hospitality, and our own distinct blend of style, colour and taste within the stone walls of the only example of 19th-century Gothic architecture in South Queensferry. We source our ingredients locally. We are a proud women-led and LGBTQ+ business.
This South Queensferry B&B was beautiful, clean and conveniently located just outside Edinburgh. The breakfast was amazing, and every need during my visit was taken care of. The house was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. I highly recommend it for a holiday in Scotland.
